The Cyberpunk Cinema Day event, organized by the New Media Club, will explore the place and evolution of the cyberpunk genre in the world of cinema. Through screenings of selected films, the event will examine the genre’s visual aesthetics, depictions of a technological future, and themes of digitalization, artificial intelligence, and social transformation. The event aims to spark a discussion about the relationship between cinema and technology, as well as the critical perspective that cyberpunk narratives offer on today’s world.
