November 11 National Tree Planting Day

The Youth Club, which operates under the Üsküdar University Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate, planted hundreds of saplings on November 11 National Tree Planting Day with its exemplary participation. The event contributed to strengthening environmental awareness and helped create a lasting green legacy.

Throughout the program, our students, faculty members, and volunteers worked together as a large community to highlight the importance of sustainable living. Participants emphasized the message that contributing to nature is a shared responsibility.

"Today, we did not just plant saplings; we left behind a value that will be a legacy for the future, a breath of fresh air for nature, and hope for tomorrow. We act with the understanding that 'even if the apocalypse is upon us, plant the sapling in your hand.' Every sapling planted is a symbol of life, hope, and goodness."

Throughout the year, our Youth Club continues to bring students together with projects on the themes of the environment, sustainability, and social responsibility. At every event, it aims to position students not only as participants but as "volunteer representatives of a green future."
