Club activities organized under the umbrella of Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) continue at full speed. The 2nd MBG Days Congress organized by Üsküdar University Molecular Biology and Genetics Club was held on April 9. Üsküdar University Vice Rector and Head of Molecular Biology and Genetics Club Department Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk opened the program at 10:30 am. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk presented "Pharmacogenetics and Applications: The Case of Üsküdar University" at the congress. Afterwards, Istinye University Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kutlu presented "Elucidation of disease mechanisms of action related to rare diseases with computer-based methods: A brief overview of Rett Syndrome". At 12:40, Radichal 2020 Winner Enes Bal from Üsküdar University presented his work titled "5GEN.SMA" at the congress. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Tuba Günel, Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Istanbul University, gave a talk on "How Can Genetics Change the Future?" at the congress. After the break, Koç University Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics Dr. Assist. Prof. Hasan Demirci, Koç University Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, presented his work titled "The Bright Future of Structural Biology in Turkey" at the congress. The program ended with Didem Karakaş Zeybek, Assistant Professor at Istinye University, presenting her study titled "Targeting the Tumor Microenvironment in Pancreatic Cancer."
