On November 9, 2022, Üsküdar University NP Health Campus Ibn-i Sina Auditorium, Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department's Medical Students Union Club held a conference on "The Place of Metabolic Surgery in the Treatment of Type-2 Diabetes" with the participation of Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Specialist Prof. Dr. Halil Coşkun.
In the event organized to address 14 November World Diabetes Day with 60 participants, Prof. Dr. Halil Coşkun, one of the doyen of Obesity and Metabolic Surgery, who provides the treatment of Type-2 Diabetes, which has started to be applied today, talked about how the treatment is performed and the process.
