Red Crescent Club organized a Coffee, Book, Conversation Event
The Coffee | Book | Conversation series organized by Üsküdar University Red Crescent Club is organized every month to see the reflections of goodness in books and to strengthen the conversation between club members.
The Coffee | Book | Conversation series organized by the Red Crescent Club of Üsküdar University is organized every month to see the reflections of goodness in books and to strengthen the conversation among the club members. The series started with Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan's book "Being Conscious Youth" and continued with Prof. Dr. Sinan Canan's book "My Changing Brain". The third book in the series was The Little Prince. The club officials, who take care to choose books that can contribute to goodness, beauty or life as a theme when choosing the books they will read, stated that they met with the third book of the series in order to set off towards the imaginary world of the Little Prince. Held on March 17th at the Üsküdar Red Crescent Branch, the event consisted of reading passages from the book and discussing the text from the club members' own perspectives, while the book was analyzed with pleasant conversation, tea and refreshments. It was reported by the club officials that the book to be read in April of the event series called Coffee | Book | Conversation will be Prof. Dr. A. Haluk Dursun's The Art of Living in Istanbul and the event will be held with iftar.
