Sustain Children Project, funded by BP Development with You and carried out by Üsküdar University Sustainable Development Club, hosted Halide Edip Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School for the project opening and implementations between May 24- 27. The young people carried out their workshops with kindergarten students aged 5-6, the target audience of the project, to raise awareness of the climate crisis and raise awareness on "zero waste, environmental protection, upcycling".
Young people divided their workshops into two days in the project they set out with the motto "Sustain Children for a Sustainable Life."
Immediately before the first workshop, they played bonding games with the children to build feelings of closeness and trust. Immediately afterwards, they started with the Ball Seed workshop, which will both contribute to children's motor skills and enable them to contribute to nature in the future. Ball Seed workshop leaders Aleyna Sıla AĞIRMAN and Sinemnur ARSLAN first introduced the materials and then made the balls. At the end of the workshop, Mustafa ŞANVERDİ, President of the Nature Sports Club, which contributes to the Sustainable Development Club as a sister club, made the children exercise accompanied by fun songs.
