The Innovative Idea Marathon 2022 Final was held

On February 18, 2022, the Innovative Idea Marathon 2022 with important names and finalist teams was completed. Over 40 pre-applications were collected and 11 entrepreneurs who qualified for the finals made their final presentations. On this big day, strong entrepreneurial teams from each other tried to rank in front of very valuable names from the sector and academia. Üsküdar University academicians were among the juries. The Innovative Idea Marathon 2022 was completed on February 18, 2022 with important names and finalist teams. Over 40 pre-applications were collected and 11 entrepreneurs who qualified for the finals made their final presentations. On this big day, strong entrepreneurial teams from each other tried to rank in front of very valuable names from the sector and academia. Üsküdar University academicians were among the juries. The innovation-oriented ideas of many teams from 23 different universities were presented. Presentations of ideas in many fields such as Health Sciences, Data Analytics, Biotechnology, E-education, Energy were listened to. Each team was given 5 + 3 minutes question-answer time. During this time, while the entrepreneurs presented their ideas in more detail, our juries asked the teams the questions they were curious about the idea. In the opening speeches, Innovative Idea Marathon Coordinator Meryem Doğan from Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department IEEE Club, Mr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinçer Atlı representing the Young Minds Academy, Mr. Melike Demirel from Atölye Üsküdar, Mr. Melike Demirel from Atölye Üsküdar, Mr. Melike Demirel from Üsküdar Municipality. Melike Demirel, Mr. Bilal Deniz Özcan from Üsküdar Municipality. Bilal Deniz Özcan from Üsküdar Municipality participated. In the program flow, lunch break and Music Club's Music Recital was held to support the unity between the clubs.

The teams that completed their finalist presentations eagerly awaited the jury evaluation. Ease of Implementation, Originality of the Idea, Market Potential, Financial Return, Written and Oral Presentation, Ownership of the Idea and Motivation, Sustainability criteria were evaluated by the jury. The results of the criteria were very close for all teams. All of the teams had a stronger idea than each other. As a result of the evaluations, the Top 3 winners were announced. Expert Mentor Support, Investor and Patent Support, TÜBİTAK and Teknofest Project Writing Support, Office Support, Training Support and Equipment Support were provided by Üsküdar Municipality, Atölye Üsküdar and the Center for Commercialization of Knowledge (BTM), which are collaborators and award sponsors.

At the end of the day, entrepreneurs were presented with their awards at the award ceremony. IEEE Innovative Idea Marathon Coordinator Meryem Doğan said the following; ''As IEEE Üsküdar University, we tried to be the biggest supporters of all teams in this process. We know that the innovative ideas of entrepreneurial university students will always be valuable for our country. The ideas developed by productive university students offer a great added value at the end of their commercialization journey.
