A Goal-Oriented Event from the STEM Projects Club in the Last Days of the Year
At the “Board-Making Event” organized by the STEM Projects Club, students visualized their goals for 2026 through design-oriented work.
The “Board-Making Event,” organized by Üsküdar University STEM Projects Club, was held on December 23, 2025, in classroom 336 in Block A. At the event, organized as a social and cultural activity, students expressed their New Year goals through creative design work and came together in an enjoyable and productive environment.
Throughout the event, participants turned their academic, personal and social goals into their own goal boards using images, text and design materials. Students not only planned their individual goals but also had the opportunity to share their motivation by exchanging ideas with one another.
During the board-making process, students expressed the projects they dream of, the aspects of themselves they want to develop and their expectations for the new year through creative work. While the resulting designs gave the event a colorful and friendly atmosphere, they offered participants a motivation-focused experience at the end of the year.
The event emphasized in particular that setting goals is not just about making plans but also helps individuals make their own development process tangible. As students gained new ideas by looking at each other’s work, they also had the opportunity to strengthen their social bonds through shared goals and interests.
Attended by approximately 8 students, the event created a small but highly interactive environment for sharing. At the end of the event, participants felt the excitement of starting the new year in a more motivated and planned way with the goal boards they had prepared.
The “Board-Making Event” held by the STEM Projects Club was one of the enjoyable events in which students showcased their creativity, shared their motivation and shaped their New Year goals through visual expression.
