Alumni–Student Gathering by the Perfusion Club

At the Alumni Gathering organized by the Üsküdar University Perfusion Club, alumni perfusionists met with students to share their professional experiences and career journeys.

On January 6, 2026, the Üsküdar University Perfusion Club held its “Alumni Gathering” event in Classroom No. 609 on the NP Health Campus. The program, held between 16.00 and 17.00, was attended by 47 students.

As part of the Professional Experience Sharing Event, alumni perfusionists met with students and talked about their career journeys. Mehmet Tunç (Mehmet Akif Ersoy Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital), Zeynep Bayraktutar (İstinye University Medical Park Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital) and Mehmet Emre Cabbar (Disposet) shared their experiences of working life.

The event addressed the current state of the sector, working conditions, hospital and private sector experiences, recruitment processes and key points to consider in career planning. The alumni speakers emphasized how internships and personal development activities undertaken as students contribute to professional life.

In the Q&A session of the program, students had the opportunity to ask the alumni directly about working hours, areas of specialization and opportunities in the sector. The event helped strengthen the alumni–student bond and enabled students to plan their career goals more consciously.

The Perfusion Club aims to continue organizing events that support students’ professional development and enable them to engage directly with the sector.
