Approach to Diabetes from Current Perspective Event Organized

Usküdar University Dietetics Club, affiliated to the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, held an online seminar "Current Overview of Diabetes; Phenolic Compounds" on November 14, 2022 at Zoom.

In the event, it was aimed to convey the place and importance of phenolic compounds in diabetes and to gain a different perspective. The seminar was held with the participation of invited speaker Gazi University Nutrition and Dietetics Department Head Prof. Dr. Gamze AKBULUT. With the participation of 90 people, the relationship of some plant phenolic compounds with diabetes, their positive and negative effects, the metabolism of phenolic compounds and their effects on health were discussed.
