Art and Workshop Club Raised Health Awareness with "Art for Health" Event
Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department's Art and Workshop Club organized the event titled "Art for Health" on April 22, 2024.
The event, which took place with the participation of LÖSEV representative Meltem Namdar Durulgan, Ataşehir Youth Center employee Nagihan Kesmen, Ataşehir Youth Services Officer Oğuzhan Ebiri, Ataşehir Driver İbrahim Satılmış, LSV Shop Employees Pembe Bahar Karataş and Sibel Höke, aimed to raise health awareness and encourage healthy living habits in the community.
The theme of the event, "Art for Health", took the form of a banner painting activity. Participants aimed to spread important messages about health and raise awareness by using their own creative expressions. Particular attention was drawn to important health issues such as leukemia and cancer.
The event also included an area to sell LSV shop materials established by the Leukemia and Cancer Patients' Aid Association (LÖSEV). In this way, public awareness of health services was raised and LÖSEV was supported. The event had a positive impact on society by emphasizing the importance of health issues through the use of art as a tool.
