Docker Workshop Event by Technology and Innovation Club

Üsküdar University Technology and Innovation Club held its online event called "Docker Workshop" on November 29, 2024. The event was held interactively with more than 30 participants via Zoom and participants were given comprehensive information about Docker and container structures.

In-Depth Information on Docker and Container Structures

In the first part of the workshop, participants were given a general information about the basics of Docker technology, how container structures work and how these technologies can be used in software development. n11 DevOps Engineer Uğurcan Akkök provided comprehensive information on the functionality, advantages and current uses of Docker.

Hands-on Learning Opportunity

In the second part of the event, the participants had the opportunity to watch the speaker's presentation in practice. The participants, who got to know Docker more closely, observed how container structures work and how they can optimize their software development processes using these structures. Participants stated that they found the event more productive and useful by immediately putting the information they learned during the practical training into practice.

At the end of the event, the participants expressed that the comprehensive information and hands-on sessions provided by the speaker were very useful for them. They were satisfied with the event as they not only learned the basics of Docker technology, but also had the opportunity to put this knowledge into practice immediately.
