Future Entrepreneurs Take the Stage with ÜsküdarGO: Sustainable Ideas Meet in Üsküdar
Launched by the Sustainable Development Club, the ÜsküdarGO – Future Entrepreneurs in Üsküdar program connected students with real industry problems, laying the groundwork for sustainable and innovative entrepreneurial ideas.
Led by the Üsküdar University Sustainable Development Club, the ÜsküdarGO – Future Entrepreneurs in Üsküdar program stood out as an intensive, hands-on three-week process bringing university students together around entrepreneurship, sustainability and innovation. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students had the opportunity to develop solutions to real industry problems.
Throughout the program, participants developed their ideas step by step through workshops, mentoring sessions and case studies, turning them into business models. The process aimed not only for students to generate ideas but also to think from a sustainability perspective, conduct impact analyses and improve their presentation skills.

ÜsküdarGO’s academic and industry strength was reinforced by the contributions of expert guests. Asst. Prof. Dr. Nebiye Yaşar (Director of the ÜÜ Young Minds Academy), Dr. Mustafa Şanverdi and Emre Kaan Şanverdi (Co-Founders of Metatıp), Mürsel Ferhat Sağlam (Founder of Branding Türkiye), Ferdi Şenol (CEO of AMEL’E & Entrepreneur Advisor) and Eslem Nur Durumlu (Startup Ecosystem Specialist) shared their knowledge and experience with participants, contributing directly to the development of the projects.
At the summit session held in the program’s final week, teams had the opportunity to present their projects to a jury. For students, this stage was not just a presentation but an important experience in terms of receiving critical feedback, defending their projects and internalizing an entrepreneurial mindset.

Held in partnership with Üsküdar University HCS, the Youth Club and the ÜNİDES Program, ÜsküdarGO helped university students develop an approach to entrepreneurship focused on social impact and aligned with the sustainable development goals. By the end of the program, participants had not only produced a project but also experienced thinking as future entrepreneurs and creating together.
