Future Perfusionists Meet in the Light of Science: Monthly Scientific Meeting

With the "Perfusion Monthly Scientific Meeting," the Üsküdar University Perfusion Club brought together leading figures in the field and the perfusionists of the future. At the event, organized to raise professional awareness and evaluate current clinical practices, academic knowledge and field experience were combined to offer participants a comprehensive perspective.

The NP Health Campus of Üsküdar University hosted a meaningful gathering focused on academic and professional development in the field of perfusion. This installment of the monthly scientific meeting series organized by the Perfusion Club was held with strong student participation and valuable contributions from expert speakers. Aiming to encourage scientific thinking skills, the event opened up for discussion how theoretical knowledge applies in the practical world.

The meeting covered a wide range of topics, from the management of the heart-lung machine to current surgical approaches. Respected figures from the world of medicine such as Prof. Dr. Mehmet Balkanay, Dr. Kadir Doğruer and Prof. Dr. Bedrettin Yıldızeli, along with experienced perfusionists actively working in the field, shared their clinical experience and case analyses with the younger generation. This interactive environment strengthened students' sense of belonging to their profession.

Throughout the event, the latest developments in perfusion technologies and new trends being applied around the world were discussed in depth. Üsküdar students, the healthcare professionals of the future, had the opportunity to put their questions to the experts, and once again grasped the critical importance of professional solidarity and continuing education in the healthcare sector.

Attended by 99 students, the meeting went beyond the format of a lecture or conference and also became a networking platform. Students from different years coming together and exchanging knowledge was the most concrete indication that the club had achieved its goals of social and academic contribution.

Stating that such high-quality scientific meetings will continue on a regular basis, the Üsküdar University Perfusion Club emphasized that it aims to maximize students' professional competencies. The event concluded with a commemorative photo of the participants and speakers.
