Hand in Hand for Kindness: The Haydi Tut Elimi Club Welcomes the New Term
The Üsküdar University Haydi Tut Elimi Club got off to a warm start in the new academic year with its "Welcome Tea" event. At the gathering, held with the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatma Turan, Ayşe Banu Güngenci and club members, successful projects from the previous term were remembered, and a productive exchange of ideas took place on social responsibility activities to be carried out in the new term.
The Haydi Tut Elimi Club, one of Üsküdar University's communities that stands out for its social responsibility projects, welcomed its new members at a special gathering held at the D Block Meeting Hall of the Main Campus. Held to introduce the club culture and add new links to the chain of volunteering, the "Welcome Tea" took place in a warm atmosphere. At the event, the roadmap for the new term was set as students devoted to doing good came together.

At the meeting, a comprehensive presentation was given on the activities carried out to date in partnership with the Haydi Tut Elimi Association. While the outcomes of projects for disadvantaged groups in previous terms were shared, experienced members passed on their field experience to newly joined peers. This sharing process increased the motivation of new members while raising awareness of the social impact of the work to be done.

At the gathering, which was also attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatma Turan and Ayşe Banu Güngenci, the contributions of social responsibility awareness to personal development were emphasized. In the discussions, which highlighted the importance of academic guidance and association support, it was underlined that students should develop themselves throughout university life not only through theoretical knowledge but also through the contributions they make to those around them.
In the interactive part of the event, participants shared their ideas on which themes should be focused on in the new term. Project proposals spanning a wide range, from education to health and from children to the elderly, were carefully noted by the club's management team. Held with the participation of a 15-member core team, this session served as a boutique, high-quality strategy meeting.

Following conversations over tea and refreshments, the "Welcome Tea" event concluded with planning for the first field activity to be carried out in the coming days. Stating that they will continue to build a bridge of kindness extending from the university campus to society, the Haydi Tut Elimi Club invited all students to volunteer.
