Hands-On Aromatherapy Workshop from the Cansağlığı Club

The “Aromatherapy Workshop,” organized by Üsküdar University Cansağlığı Club, was held on December 7, 2025, at the Cansağlığı Foundation Bayrampaşa Building. At the event, which attracted great interest from students, the basic principles of aromatherapy and the uses of essential oils were discussed alongside hands-on activities.

Pharmacist Zeynep Sude Kuzu, who attended the workshop as a speaker, provided participants with comprehensive information on the historical development of aromatherapy, the properties of natural essential oils and their effects on health. Throughout the event, insights were shared on the purposes of different essential oils, how they can be used in daily life and the supportive aspects of aromatherapy.

Participants not only gained theoretical knowledge but also had the opportunity to experience aromatherapy processes through hands-on activities. While the scents, methods of use and areas of effect of natural oils drew students’ interest throughout the workshop, the event stood out for its friendly and interactive atmosphere.

Held in collaboration with the Cansağlığı Foundation, the event helped students gain awareness of alternative supportive approaches. Creating both an instructive and experience-oriented environment, especially for students interested in the health field, the workshop was followed with interest by participants.
