In the Footsteps of the Resurrection Generation: A Meaningful Book Analysis by the Future of Kindness Club

The Future of Kindness Club, which operates within Üsküdar University, added another event to those it organizes to develop reading culture and critical thinking skills among students. At the "Book Analysis 2" event, held on an online platform on January 27, 2025, the club discussed "Diriliş Neslinin Amentüsü" (The Creed of the Resurrection Generation) by Sezai Karakoç, one of the leading thinkers of Turkish intellectual life.

In the session, which drew strong participation from club members, comprehensive discussions were held on the concept of "resurrection" (diriliş) that forms the foundation of the work and on the mission Karakoç assigns to youth. In the interactive event, participants asked questions about the book and shared their personal interpretations of its chapters, blending the perspective offered by the work with today’s dynamics.

This education-focused gathering contributed to participants’ cultural knowledge while enabling an exchange of ideas toward building a youth that is sensitive to social issues. The Future of Kindness Club stated that it will continue to support student development through similar reading and analysis programs in the coming terms.
