Innovative Neuroscience Talks by Medical Technoscience and Neuroscience Club: Brain Networks and Neuroinformatics Seminar

On 14 December 2024, Innovative Neuroscience Talks organized by Üsküdar University Medical Technoscience and Neuroscience Club: Brain Networks and Neuroinformatics seminar was held with a great participation. Prof. Dr. Kayhan Erciyeş, a well-known expert in his field, attended the event as a speaker. The seminar focused on studies in the field of neuroinformatics and new developments in the use of brain networks and brain imaging data.

Prof. Dr. Kayhan Erciyeş, author of Bioinformatics of the Brain, presented important insights on brain disease networks and the analysis of data on neurological disorders. The event aimed to provide an in-depth perspective on the structure of brain networks and applications of neuroinformatics in healthcare. Participants had the opportunity to learn about current developments in neuroinformatics and brain imaging.

The seminar was held online via Zoom platform and 45 participants attended the event. At the end of the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to ask Prof. Dr. Kayhan Erciyeş questions about brain networks and neurological diseases and learn more about the subject. In addition, short conversations with the participants at the end of the seminar made the event more productive.

Students and professionals who attended the event stated that they gained an important perspective for their future studies in their fields with the knowledge they gained about neuroinformatics. Participants gave feedback for more events on neuroscience and cognitive sciences.

By organizing the event, the Medical Technoscience and Neuroscience Club aims to continue to encourage knowledge sharing in this field and provide university students with a comprehensive education on neuroinformatics.
