Journalism Club organized "Ankara Cultural and Historical Excursion Program"

Üsküdar University Journalism Club, affiliated to the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, offered its participants the opportunity to make a historical journey in the footsteps of our Republic with the "Ankara Cultural and Historical Excursion Program" event organized on November 29, 2024. The event focused on exploring the period from the first years of the Republic to the present day by visiting important historical and cultural points in Ankara.

A Journey in the Footsteps of the Republic

The event was held with the theme "In the footsteps of our Republic, a journey from the first parliament to the present". Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Maria Pia Ester Cristaldi, the participants observed the beginning stages of the history of the Republic, its founders and important developments in the first years of the parliament. This trip offered a great opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the achievements of the Republic and their impact to this day.

An Impressive Cultural Experience

After the trip, the participants expressed their satisfaction with the event and stated that they enjoyed discovering important points in the history of the Republic. The participants expressed their desire for such cultural trips to continue in the club's activities.

The Journalism Club aims to raise awareness of history and culture through such cultural activities in the future.
