Magical Transformation of Wood with the Art of Painting Burning Event

On December 28, 2023, the Painting Burning Art event held at Üsküdar University South Campus brought art lovers together and provided an unforgettable experience.

The event, which was held with the participation of Muammer Kırmızıgül, a wood burning artist from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as an invited speaker, was organized by the History and Literature Club affiliated to Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department.

The event started by providing the participants with valuable information about Muammer Kırmızıgül's artistic life. The artist inspired the participants by sharing his passion for art and his interest in the art of wood burning.

In the event, which took place in the form of a workshop and seminar, participants had the opportunity to practice the picture burning technique by drawing on wood. The event, where art and creativity came to the forefront, allowed the participants to develop their hand skills and immerse themselves in the magic of art.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zelka, who attended the event, presented gifts to the participants at the end of the event and thanked them for their contribution to the event.

Eda Özören, the president of the club, said in her evaluation of the event: "We have experienced the art of burning painting with our participants. We both had fun and learned a lot."
