Message Experiment Event by Biotechnology and Bioengineering Club
The Biotechnology and Bioengineering Club, affiliated to Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department, organized its first event titled "The Importance and Scope of Message Experiment" on March 19, 2024.
The event, which took place in the Kuleli Hall of the Central Campus, was attended by Dr. Cihan Taştan, a faculty member of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics and a member of TRGENMER (Transgenic Cell Technologies and Epigenetics Application and Research Center), who carried out important studies on CRISPR technology as an invited speaker. Prof. Dr. Cihan Taştan participated.
The event aimed to explain the Message Experiment of "Alper Gezeravcı", the first Turkish astronaut to go to space, in detail and to provide motivation to the students. In the event, which was organized in a conference format, valuable information about the importance and scope of the message experiment was conveyed to the participants.
The event, which was attended by 90 people in total, received very positive feedback from the participants. Participants stated that the event motivated them and reminded them that even small steps can lead to great achievements.
The Biotechnology and Bioengineering Club stated that it will continue to be a pioneer in future events with this valuable information and motivation provided to students.
