Üsküdar University Young Doctors of the Earth Club carried out a meaningful social responsibility project on December 26, 2024. The club members visited the children being treated in the pediatric ward of Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital and supported the little patients by organizing moral activities.
In the event, which was organized on a voluntary basis, a team of 15-20 people took care of the children one-on-one and carried out various activities to increase their morale and motivation. The children, who had a difficult time during the treatment process, had a pleasant time thanks to the club members' sincere interest and fun activities.
During the event, games were played, conversations were held and various activities were organized. Club members stated that the smiles on the children's faces were the biggest source of motivation for them.
During the visit, the families of the children stated that their children were bored in the hospital environment and that such activities gave them great morale. The families thanked the members of the Young Earth Doctors Club and expressed their wish to increase such voluntary activities.
