Psychology Club Members Visited Istanbul Dialogue Museum

On March 6, 2024, the Psychology Club of Üsküdar University's Health, Culture and Sports Department organized an unforgettable event at the Istanbul Dialogue Museum to raise awareness about the lives of people with disabilities.

Participants came together with visually and hearing impaired individuals and aimed to shed light on their lives by participating in the "Dialogue in the Dark" and "Silent Dialogue" activities in the museum.

The tour started from Gayrettepe Metro Station and included a visit to the special events of the Istanbul Dialogue Museum. The participants, who had the opportunity to come together with people with disabilities to see and understand their life experiences, stated that they gained a deeper awareness at the end of the event.

With the participation of 16 people, the event had a profound impact on the participants in terms of empathizing with people with disabilities and understanding their daily lives. The Istanbul Dialogue Museum Trip was recorded as one of the important steps taken to overcome obstacles and raise social awareness.

Members of the Psychology Club stated that they will continue to address all segments of society by organizing similar events in the future.
