Psychology Club Visited Hospice
The "Hospice Nursing Home Visit" organized by the Psychology Club, one of the events supported by Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department, took place with great interest. On March 23, 2024, the club management and members participated in the event held in Şişli / Darülaceze.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness during the Elderly Week and to come together with the elderly to listen to their life stories, learn and provide psychosocial support. In addition to this, one of the important goals was to cheer up the elderly and put a smile on their faces.
The event organized by the Psychology Club was attended by 30 people and went exactly as planned. The participants met with the residents of the Hospice Nursing Home in a friendly environment, had a pleasant time and had meaningful conversations.
At the end of the event, the club members stated that the event was a success and their goals were achieved. It was observed that both the participants and the residents of Hospice were satisfied with this beautiful meeting with the elderly.
This event, organized by the Psychology Club with a sense of social responsibility, contributed to increasing sensitivity towards the elderly and strengthening the spirit of solidarity in society.
