"Small Steps, Big Changes" Seminar from the Child Development Club

The Child Development Club, affiliated with the Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate of Üsküdar University, organized a seminar titled "Small Steps, Big Changes: The Importance of the Child Development Specialist" on November 27, 2025, in the Emir Nebi 2 Hall at the Çarşı Campus. The event aimed to raise professional awareness in the field of child development and provide students with comprehensive information about the role of child development specialists.

The seminar provided comprehensive information on who child development specialists are, their professional responsibilities, their working methods in different areas of development, and the roles they can take on in different institutions. In addition, the institutions where child development specialists can work, their fields of application, and career paths were explained to students in detail.

The speakers at the event were:

  • Lecturer Elif İpek Güney

. The speakers made important assessments regarding scientific developments in the field of child development, field experiences, new application models, and the importance of the profession from a child rights perspective.

The seminar, which was attended by a total of 95 students, was enriched with an interactive question-and-answer session. Participants expressed their satisfaction, stating that the seminar was both professionally and academically instructive.
