Republic Spirit at Üsküdar: 5,000 Young People Gather at the New Century Festival
The Üsküdar University Youth Club crowned the 102nd anniversary of our Republic with the "Republic and Youth in the New Century Festival." The large-scale event, held at the Çarşı Campus with thousands of students in attendance, featured many activities, from club stands to folk dances, and from the "Sahne Senin" (The Stage Is Yours) singing competition to exciting concerts. Blending the spirit of national unity with art and entertainment, the festival turned the university campus into a true holiday celebration.
The Üsküdar University Youth Club staged an unforgettable celebration on campus with a vision befitting the new century of the Republic. Hosted by the Çarşı Campus, the "Republic and Youth in the New Century Festival" was held with great enthusiasm, with approximately 5,000 students in attendance. While reinforcing the sense of national unity and solidarity, the festival also offered a large platform where students could showcase their cultural and artistic creativity.

The festival area, equipped with professional stage and sound systems, was enlivened throughout the day by the promotional stands of various student clubs. At the event, where interaction among clubs reached its peak, students had the opportunity to meet new communities in their areas of interest and to share the spirit of Republic Day with collective joy. Traditional folk dance performances brought Anatolia's rich cultural heritage to campus, offering the audience a visual feast.

One of the most exciting moments of the festival, the "Sahne Senin" (The Stage Is Yours) singing competition, showcased the discovery of young talent. The 6 students who passed the preliminary rounds and earned a place on stage performed in front of thousands of their peers. The university's best voice, chosen by the votes of the participants, received the award amid applause. Following the competition, Medusa and Berk Bendisin took the stage and brought the energy to its peak with their concerts, giving students a night full of music.
More than just an entertainment event, the festival was also a hub for socializing, allowing students to recharge amid the busy pace of classes and exams. The Republic spirit that spread to every corner of the campus strengthened young people's sense of belonging to the university while once again demonstrating their determination to uphold social values. The strong interest of the participants proved the positive impact of such large-scale events on university culture.

In the evaluations made at the end of the event, there was strong consensus that the festival should become a tradition and continue to grow every year. Coordinated by Youth Club Vice President Eda Özdemir, the event concluded with full marks from participants. With this grand gathering, Üsküdar University once again declared that, with the energy of young people, it will continue to carry the torch of the Republic into the future through art and science.
