At the event, which hosted training video content creator Mustafa Karaca, the finer points of digital design and professional tips were examined in depth with the participation of 120 students.
The Technology and Innovation Club, one of Üsküdar University’s most active technology-focused societies, delivered an eye-opening training seminar for engineering students and design enthusiasts. Held online via the Google Meet platform on January 10, 2026, the "Solidworks Workshop" opened the doors to the world of digital design and 3D modeling.
In the workshop led by Mustafa Karaca, a training video content creator experienced in the field, the critical importance of applications such as Solidworks and AutoCAD in professional life was emphasized. In the intensive two-hour program, which began at 20.00 on the evening of January 10, 2026, a wide range of information was shared, from the basic features of the application to advanced modeling techniques.

Through hands-on examples, participants had the opportunity to see many technical details, from using the software’s interface and keyboard shortcuts to strategic methods that speed up design processes and the stages of project development. On the digital platform, which turned into a giant classroom with the interactive participation of 120 students, Mustafa Karaca shared tips that will contribute to students’ professional development and answered their questions.
Enhancing competitiveness in the field of engineering, this workshop served as a guide showing students how they can put their theoretical knowledge into concrete form with digital tools. Officials of the Technology and Innovation Club stated that such trainings, organized to equip students with the technical competencies needed in the industry, will continue throughout the academic calendar with a focus on different software.
At the end of the program, the importance of producing in the digital world and thinking innovatively was affirmed once again.
