Students Gained Sectoral Knowledge with Saloni Amperino Technical Trip

Üsküdar University Industry and Leadership Student Club brought its students together in the important production facilities of Bursa with the "Saloni Amperino Technical Trip" event organized to provide sectoral experience to its students. The event took place on January 4, 2023.

The first stop of the technical trip was the "Saloni Furniture" company, which hosts production facilities in the furniture sector. Students had the opportunity to observe the furniture production processes in the facilities located in Yeniceköy Neighborhood and understand the engineering practices in the sector. Tamer Değirmenci and Zeynep Özbek, who took part in the facility visit as speakers, explained the current developments in the sector and the role of engineering in detail.

Then, the students visited the company "Erhun Metal Factory Amperino" located in Süleymaniye Osb Neighborhood. At this point, production processes in the automotive sector and the importance of industrial engineering in this field were discussed. The students were provided with detailed information about the complexity of car production and processes in Amperino Automotive company.

At the end of the event, the participants evaluated their experiences and the knowledge they gained. It was stated that different applications in the furniture and automotive sectors gave students a broad perspective. In addition to increasing their sectoral knowledge, the participants stated that they had the opportunity to make valuable contacts for their industrial engineering careers.

Saloni Amperino Technical Trip event offered industrial engineering students the chance to experience sectoral practice and interact with industry professionals, allowing them to combine their theoretical knowledge with practice.
