On the technical visit organized by the Perfusion Club, students had the opportunity to observe medical device manufacturing processes on-site and gain practical knowledge about the industry.
The technical visit organized by the Üsküdar University Perfusion Club took place on March 25, 2026, at the Bıçakçılar factory in Esenyurt, Istanbul. As part of the event, students had the opportunity to examine medical device manufacturing processes on-site and combine their theoretical knowledge with industry experience.

During the technical visit, participants observed the systems used in the production stages and the development processes of medical devices. Students were given comprehensive information, in particular, on the production standards, quality control processes, and technical operation of equipment used in health technologies.

The main purpose of the event was to help perfusion students gain professional awareness by observing, in a real production environment, the theoretical knowledge they had acquired during their education. Participants had the opportunity to take a closer look at the working dynamics of the medical device industry while also considering the importance of production processes in the health field.
During the visit, students toured the production areas and learned about the technological infrastructure and work processes used. At the same time, thanks to exchanges with industry professionals, students also had the opportunity to gain insight into professional career paths and the development of health technologies.
The event, attended by approximately 20 students, was one of the hands-on learning experiences that helped students get to know their professional field more closely. Participants stated that technical visits are important activities that support theoretical education and gave positive feedback calling for similar events to continue.
The technical visit held by the Perfusion Club stood out as one of the productive events that increased students’ awareness of health technologies and medical manufacturing processes while offering them the opportunity to experience the industry firsthand.
