The 1st National Breastfeeding Symposium Held at Üsküdar University Attracts High Participation

1st National Üsküdar University Breastfeeding Symposium Held

The First Touch of Miracle Club, operating under the Health, Culture, and Sports Directorate of Üsküdar University, organized the 1st National Üsküdar University Breastfeeding Symposium on Friday, October 31, 2025. The symposium, held at the NP Health Campus Ibn Sina Conference Hall, took place in an academic atmosphere with high attendance.

such renowned experts in their fields participated as speakers.

The symposium addressed the effects of breastfeeding on maternal and infant health, current approaches in midwifery practices, counseling models, and the role of midwives in the breastfeeding process. In addition, the importance of breastfeeding for public health and awareness-raising efforts in this area were evaluated in light of scientific data.

The aim of the event was stated as increasing participants' knowledge about breastfeeding processes, strengthening professional approaches, and encouraging scientific sharing on current research in the field of midwifery.

The symposium, attended by a total of 360 participants, featured presentations that drew significant interest. Participants expressed that the event was highly beneficial and educational, providing important contributions to their professional development. In the final evaluations conducted at the end of the symposium, it was emphasized that the event raised awareness, strengthened scientific collaboration, and laid the groundwork for new research ideas.
