The Future Takes Shape with Dreams: A "Vision Board" Workshop by the Young Volunteers
With its "Vision Board" event, the Üsküdar University Young Volunteers Club invited students to visualize their New Year’s goals, holding an inspiring gathering on their personal development journey.
The Üsküdar University Young Volunteers Club held a "Vision Board" (Dream Board) workshop to boost students’ motivation and help them enter the new year with concrete goals. At the event, held in the warm atmosphere of the Sokrates Hall at the South Campus, participants had the opportunity to give tangible form to their dreams and future plans with an artistic touch.
In this personal development-focused workshop, students learned about the effects of visualizing goals on mental focus and success. Participants designed their own "roadmaps" on planners, boards and digital tablets, using colorful images, inspiring quotes and strategic notes. Each board became a unique work representing the student’s academic and personal career milestones.
During the event, participants not only focused on their individual goals but also shared in one another’s dreams. In the workshop, which featured a lively exchange of ideas, the common goals shared also fostered social solidarity and motivation on campus. Blending colorful pictures and creative designs, the process offered students an enjoyable break amid a busy academic calendar.
Young Volunteers Club officials spoke about the positive effect of visualization techniques on disciplined work, emphasizing that such workshops contribute to students’ time management and planning skills. The boards prepared at the workshop took their place as reminders that will keep students’ motivation alive throughout the year.
This productive gathering at the South Campus concluded by helping participants define their visions for the future more clearly. The Young Volunteers Club announced that it will continue to hold similar personal development events in the coming term to help students discover their potential.
