The “Digital Transformation and Next-Generation Marketing Summit” organized by the Young Communicators Club brought leading names in the industry together with students to examine the new rules of the digital world.
The Üsküdar University Young Communicators Club held a comprehensive summit to keep pace with the rapidly changing digital dynamics of the communications world and to bring students together with industry professionals. Held at the South Campus on December 11, 2025, the “Digital Transformation and Next-Generation Marketing Summit” featured knowledge sharing on a wide range of topics, from current trends in digital marketing to brand management.
In the opening sessions of the summit, BusinessUp founder and CEO Önder Türker and SEO Team Leader Kerem Gezergün took the floor. While Türker emphasized the transformative power of digital transformation on businesses and its strategic importance in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, Gezergün explained to students, with technical details, the critical role of search engine optimization (SEO) in digital visibility. These insights from inside the industry contributed directly to participants’ career visions.
The second part of the panel hosted representatives of successful brands from the worlds of e-commerce and fashion. MANUKA Digital Marketing Director Necat Babacan and Fresh Scarfs Digital Marketing Specialist Selinay Patan shared case studies on building brand loyalty and digital advertising strategies. Explaining ways to reach new-generation consumers through their own professional experiences, the speakers answered students’ questions about the world of marketing.
Attended by around 70 students, the event was not limited to technical presentations but also became an interactive networking platform. Students from the Faculty of Communication as well as from other departments had the opportunity to communicate one-on-one with industry leaders and take the pulse of the future business world. Combined with surprise gifts and the club’s dynamic energy, the summit created an inspiring atmosphere on campus.
At the end of the program, Young Communicators Club officials thanked all the speakers and participants who contributed to the summit. It was emphasized that such events, which aim to train well-equipped individuals suited to the needs of the digital age, will continue in the coming terms through industry collaborations. With this summit, Üsküdar University once again affirmed its vision of offering students the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
