The "Monthly Scientific Meeting" organized by the Üsküdar University Perfusion Club brought leading experts in the field together with students at the İbni Sina Auditorium, bringing clinical experience onto an academic platform.
The Üsküdar University Perfusion Club added another installment to its "Monthly Scientific Meeting" series, organized to enhance students' professional competencies and enable them to closely follow current developments in the sector. Held on November 27, 2025 at the İbni Sina Auditorium, the event aimed to broaden the academic perspectives of prospective perfusionists and to elevate their clinical awareness.

The academic session of the meeting featured leading figures in cardiovascular surgery, including Prof. Dr. Ali Kocailik, Prof. Dr. Murat Bülent Rabuş and Prof. Dr. Erdal Polat. The distinguished professors highlighted the vital importance of perfusion science in surgical procedures and offered valuable advice to students on the critical role that acquiring scientific thinking skills plays in professional life.
In the clinical practice part of the event, experienced perfusionists from the field, Buket Işık Daloğlu, Tarık Demir, İsmail Yerli, Zekeriya Telli and Emine Oruç, took the floor. The expert perfusionists shared current developments across a wide range of topics, from operating room dynamics to case management and from next-generation device technologies to team communication, illustrating the practical application of theoretical knowledge with concrete examples.

Attended by approximately 97 students and held in an interactive format, the meeting turned into a productive exchange of knowledge in which students had the opportunity to ask the experts questions directly. Aiming to strengthen professional solidarity, this platform also laid the groundwork for students to interact with one another and develop a shared disciplinary culture.
At the end of the program, Perfusion Club officials stated that these professional development-focused scientific meetings will continue on a regular basis. Supporting Üsküdar University's visionary approach to education in health sciences, the event concluded with a group photo and served as an inspiring stop for the perfusionists of the future.
