Üsküdar University Nursing Club Organized Alumni Conversation

Üsküdar University Nurse Club organized an "Alumni Conversation" event on December 20, 2024 at Galenos Hall of Np Health Campus. In the event, some students who graduated from our university shared their experiences about their career journey after graduation with the participants.

Speaking at the event, Aleyna DİKMEDAŞ, one of the graduates, explained how she started working in the private sector, what to consider before starting to work in this field, and the advantages and disadvantages of working in the private sector. Rabia EFE shared with the participants the path she followed to start working abroad, the requirements of foreign language level and her applications to hospitals abroad.

Mehmet Ali ÖZCAN shared what he did to get his master's degree and how he was appointed to the state during his master's degree. Musa KARHAN shared his experiences in the master's degree process and the points to be considered in this process. Şeyda TAPIRDAMAZ told the participants about the Erasmus process she did at the school and what this experience contributed to her. Beyza GÜLERYÜZ talked about the process of starting to work in the state sector and the advantages and disadvantages of working in the state.

The face-to-face event was completed with 90-100 participants with great interest. Participants noted that the experiences shared by the alumni were informative and useful in terms of how to navigate their career path after graduation. The event made a great contribution in terms of guiding students who have difficulty in determining their career options after graduation
