Visit to DETALAB by IEEE Club

The event, organized by the IEEE Club affiliated to Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department, was held on March 21, 2024 at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Nanotechnology and Biotechnology Institute. Assist. Şima KILIÇ contributed to the event.

The event was organized with a comprehensive presentation on the production and care of experimental animals used for scientific studies and education at DETALAB. Participants were provided with detailed information about the provision of appropriate conditions for experiments, laboratory services, veterinary services and academic support.

With the participation of 15 people, DETALAB's laboratory areas at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa - Küçükçekmece Campus were visited. After visiting the center, the participants were divided into groups in the conference room and examined the usage areas such as laboratory, experimental animals and warehouse in detail.

Participants stated that the event was very enjoyable and informative. The complementary and comprehensible nature of the laboratory lectures increased the satisfaction of the participants. At the end of the event, the participants emphasized the success of the organization by expressing their desire for continuity.

The event was very productive in understanding the functioning of scientific research laboratories and increasing the knowledge of the participants. Participants gained a comprehensive perspective on DETALAB's activities and processes related to experimental animals.
