Young Yeryüzü Doktorları Club Provided Health and Hygiene Training to Minors

Members of the Young Yeryüzü Doktorları Club came together with the "Touch the Earth" event organized at Kartal Sabri Taşkın Primary School on December 13, 2024 with the support of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports. Within the scope of the event, primary school students were provided with hygiene and oral and dental health training, while basic life support issues were explained to teachers in practice.

A total of 30 students participated in the event, and the trainings were carried out in groups of 2. In the presentations, the importance of hygiene habits and oral and dental health issues were discussed in detail. Students actively participated in the presentations that lasted for one class hour and contributed with their questions.

After the presentations, a children's festival was organized in the school garden during breaks. Students had fun with music and dance activities. The event created colorful images and children had a great time.

In another part of the event, basic life support training was given to teachers. In the presentation, which was practiced on models, important information that can save lives in case of emergencies was shared. The presentation was met with great interest and satisfaction by the teachers.

At the end of the event, students and teachers thanked the Young Yeryüzü Doktorları Club team. While it was emphasized that hygiene trainings and basic life support presentations were useful, students' interest in the activities also attracted attention. The "Touch the Earth" event was an important success in raising social awareness.
