Youth Club Participated in Youth Policy Vision Workshop

Üsküdar University Youth Club participated in the Youth Policy Vision Workshop at Ataköy International Youth Center on December 25, 2024. The workshop, which was attended by young people from all over Turkey, was organized with the aim of developing youth policies and producing solutions for the social, economic, and personal needs of young people.

The workshop started with an opening session with the participation of officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In the protocol speeches, the importance of policies that aim to support the social roles of young people and unlock their potential was emphasized. Participants from different universities and youth organizations had the opportunity to meet at the networking event held in the foyer area.

One of the most remarkable parts of the event was the discussions in the working groups. Participants focused on topics such as education, employment, entrepreneurship opportunities and social challenges of young people. The groups developed projects to increase the social participation of young people and innovative solutions for the future. Moderators recorded the outputs of these workshops to be shared with decision-makers.

In the closing session, the outputs of the workshop and the suggestions from young people were discussed. The event ended with the thank you speeches of the protocol members and souvenir photos were taken.

Through the workshop, the Youth Club had the opportunity to voice the demands of Üsküdar University students and Üsküdar youth. The ideas produced at the event were evaluated as an important step on behalf of all young people by contributing to the Youth Policy Document. It was once again emphasized that such platforms have a critical role for young people to make their voices heard and participate in policy development processes.
