ISSTEAM & TFTTEAM Always With You!
ISSTeam is the international Student Support Team of Üsküdar University. This team helps to identify the academic, social and administrative problems that international students might face and solve them with the concerned parties (academic, administrative departments / people etc.)
The tasks of team;
- to talk to students about their issues (face to face, e-mail, phone etc.)
- to follow student complaints that is forwerded by other units
- to share necessary feedbacks with management
- to provide information through social media and web site
- to be a bridge between student and university departments
- to do enter / exit interview with students
- to do works of continuous improvement events for quality
TFTeam is the Target Friendship Team of Üsküdar University. This team is an actual peer-mentorship project.
The purpose of the project is:
- To provide support to the student in the friendship environment within the university life by mentors,
- To exchange information and support the students in order to meet the needs of students.
- To help to identify the academic, social and administrative problems that international students might face and solve them with the concerned parties (academic, administrative departments / people etc.) .
- To provide language support in Turkish, English, Arabic, French, Russian and some native languages, in case the international students face language barrier problems inside the school.
WHO ARE WE? WHAT DO WE DO?
The International Student Relations Office has been opened to support you in solving the problems you encounter in university life, in your social activity plans, and when you want to make your voice heard. We have a team called ISSTeam in our office who speaks Turkish, English and Arabic and is ready to support you.
