Sports Unit of Health of Health, Culture and Sports Department aims to protect and improve the physical and mental health of both our students and staff. In addition, it is among our priorities to help our students gain the habit of disciplined study, to be interested in sports, to use their spare time effectively and to encourage them to do sports.

Organising sports tournaments, events, managing the processes of organizing activities, supplying and organizing the materials, nutrition and shelter needed for the activities are among the responsibilities of Health Unit.

Within the body of Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department, there is 1 Wellness Center in Çarşı Campus, 1 multi-purpose gym and 1 fitness center. Our Wellness Center has locker rooms 1 for women and 1 for men, as well as the shower area. In our gym, it is possible to practice in branches such as Basketball, Volleyball and Futsal.

Achievements as a Result of Inter-University Competitions

Futsal(Indoor Football);

We are promoted to the Turkish University Sports Federation University Leagues Super League.

Football;

Super league promotion competitions 1st League Türkiye Championship

Women's Volleyball;

He became the Istanbul Champion as undefeated and qualified to go to the Universities League Super League promotion competitions and completed the promotion competitions as undefeated and became the Universities 1st League Turkey Champion.

Men's Basketball;

Universities League Super League promotion competitions, 1 League Turkey Champion as the Super League was promoted.

Women's Basketball;

Our Women's Basketball team was promoted to the 1st Division of the Universities League.

Korfball

Our team was promoted to the Super League as the 1st League finalist of the Universities League.

Our achievements in the competitions between universities are;

Muhammet TULGAR became the 3rd in Turkey in the Muaythai Championship and the 2nd in Turkey in the Kickboxing Championship.

Öznur BAYAT came 2nd in Türkiye in the same year.

Ömer Faruk Kardeş became the 3rd in Türkiye In Taekwondo.

Our Korfball team and Women's Volleyball Team took 4th place in TÜSF Beach Korfball Turkey Championship in the final competitions. Our Women's Volleyball Team took 4th in the final competitions.

Moreover; Our Women's Volleyball Team and Men's Basketball Team represent our university in TÜSF(Türkiye University Sports Federation) competitions.

Our psychology department student, national athlete, visually impaired Fatih Bayer, achieved the success to continue as a member of national team by passing the European Championship jump-off in 200-400 meter run.

Sports competitions were not held in the 2019-2020 Spring Semester and 2020-2021 Academic Year due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

In 2021-2022 academic year, our Women's Volleyball Team will continue to compete on TÜSF 2nd League. Our Men's Basketball, Korfball, Football and Futsal Teams will represent the University on TUSF 1st League. In addition, the University will be represented for individual sports branches.
