Çanakkale Martyrdom was visited
On March 22, 2023, our University visited Çanakkale Martyrdom...
On March 22, 2023, the Çanakkale Martyrdom Visit of our University took place. The group of 50 students was accompanied by Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Director of Young Brains Academy and Viktorya Altınkaya, International Student Relations Unit Staff. Many international students participated in the visit to the martyrdom. The visit to the martyrdom was accompanied by a professional guide. During the visit, information was obtained about many historical monuments and places such as Respect for Mehmetçik, New Zealand Monument and Cemetery, Kilit Bahir Castle, Seyit Onbaşı Monument, Rumeli Mecidiye Bastion, Namazgâh and Hamidiye Bastions.
The students were most impressed by the Şahindere Winding Place Hospital Martyrdom. During their visit to the Çanakkale Martyrs' Monument, which was built in 1954 in memory of the 53,000 soldiers lost in World War I, the participants visited the Symbolic Turkish Martyrdom, the Martyrdom of the Unknown Soldier, the Wounded Soldier Monument, the "Mustafa Kemal at Çanakkale They also had the opportunity to visit the Monument. At the Çanakkale Epic Presentation Center, the Çanakkale Epic simulation, where the information learned during the visits was visualized and history was reinforced with visual elements, was also experienced. The Martyrdom Visit ended after the simulation experience.
