Volunteer Young Doctors, supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with Karatay Municipality, Üsküdar University, Üsküdar University Young Minds Academy, Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department, Şerife Yıldırım, President of KONES Handicraft Cooperative, coordinated by İsmil Neighborhood Headman Ramazan Akın,
Under the guidance of Sakyatan Imam Bekir Ekmekçi, they conducted general health checks on the residents of Ismil, Sakyatan and Çumra villages.

Setting out with the motto "Volunteer and do it from the heart", volunteer young doctors informed the village residents to raise awareness on nutrition and healthy living. The young doctors, who conducted workshops on first aid for village children, raised awareness of the village people with conversations on healthy living.

The villagers of İsmil, Sakyatan and Çumra villages, which were determined within the scope of the project, showed great interest in volunteer young doctors.

Mustafa Şanverdi, representative of Üsküdar Faculty of Medicine and project youth leader, emphasized the importance of general health checks for village residents and gave information about the benefits of exercises, which are indispensable for a healthy life.

Director of the Young Brains Academy, Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nebiye Yaşar provided consultancy support to the projects of future doctors on the importance of healthy life.

With the words of Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar University, "Have a passionate life purpose", young doctors created a "bridge of values" motto for the village residents.
