Usküdar University Psychology 4th year Psychology student Yusuf Burak Mudu took Entrepreneurship and Project Culture Training in 2nd year and developed his business plan prepared in the final of the course and founded the Technology Company Bramhers.
Mudu, who received 3 million product order offers from national and international companies with his product with R&D and innovation content, established a workplace consisting of 300 m2 R&D, innovation, production and assembly line, and strengthens his business with KOSGEB, R&D and Innovation project application in the workplace that currently employs 6 people.
Yusuf Burak Mudu, a student of Health, Culture and Sports Department Young Enterprise Club, developed 6 innovative medical device products. He is currently working under his own company, Bramher's Technology Company. Üsküdar University Young Brains Academy Project Coordinator Dr. Nebiye Yaşar describes Yusuf's story in the following words: "Yusuf is one of the 41 young entrepreneurs we selected in our project "Entrepreneurship Stories of Young Entrepreneurs." It was learned that the products he developed are in high demand from hospitals and other health institutions. Yusuf Burak Mudu emphasized that Bramhers, which belongs to him, will market various improved medical devices to more health institutions and hospitals in the coming years.
Medical gas socket was one of these works. Medical gas socket, is still imported from abroad at high prices and most of them are also produced domestically in a way that does not comply with international standards. He also stated that the medical socket, of which he stated that he manufactured the prototype, is of the same quality and cheaper than similar products imported in our country and that it is originally designed in accordance with international standards. He wants to contribute to our country with a product that is competitive in the medical market, complies with international standards and has high added value.
The product consists of 3 basic structures;
1) In hospitals, the necessary maintenance of our medical gas sockets can be easily performed without dismantling the panels at the patient bedside and in the pendants of the operating rooms, so that the sockets can be used for a long time.
2) With the valve system of the designed medical gas socket, central gas lines can be maintained without shutting down. With this feature, the central valve system of the patient rooms is closed, preventing many rooms from being gasless at the same time and posing a risk to patients.
3) While separating the probe of the medical device from the medical gas socket, medical people need less force with its special design, unlike the competing sockets still on the market, which has increased the service life of both medical devices and medical gas sockets and has provided the opportunity to minimize the associated costs in hospitals. With a single finger force applied to the push button of our medical gas socket from any point, the separation of the probe of the medical device from the socket has been achieved with the original design of the socket.
