Medical Students' Union Club Organized a Comprehensive Webinar on Stress Management and Self-Confidence
Üsküdar University Medical Students' Union Club organized a webinar titled "The Road to Success in the Faculty of Medicine: The Secret of Stress Management and Self-Confidence" on September 30, 2024. The event, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihrimah Öztürk participated as a speaker, was held on Zoom and reached 157 participants.
The webinar covered topics such as ways to cope with the challenges of the medical education process, stress and time management techniques, and self-confidence building strategies. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihrimah Öztürk shared the points that students should pay attention to in balancing their academic and social lives and emphasized the importance of mental resilience for a successful career in medicine.
The webinar attracted great interest from the students. In the question-and-answer session at the end of the event, participants had the opportunity to directly ask the questions they were curious about. In particular, practical suggestions on stress management provided guidance to the students.
Participants expressed their satisfaction with the informative and effective webinar and requested similar events to continue. It was emphasized that such academic support programs are an important guide for medical students.
