We Returned from Unilig Sports Competitions with Turkey Ranking

University Sports League (UNİLİG) and Turkey University Sports Federation (TÜSF) organized the Inter-University Turkish Championship competitions continue. Our athletes who have been ranked so far in the Turkish Championship Super League competitions have been announced.

Our school was represented by Umut AKBABA, a 1st year student of Health Information Systems Technician, and Nur Betül KEMENT, a 4th year student of Occupational Therapy, at the Wushu Interuniversity Turkish Championship. Our athlete Nur Betül KEMENT came 2nd in Turkey. Begüm Su BALTACIOĞLU, 4th year student of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Mohammed Ebaa TAYAN, Software Engineering English Preparatory class student, and Mahbuke Mehlika TOZLU, 1st year student of Occupational Therapy, represented our school in Fencing Interuniversity Turkey Championship.

In the boxing competition hosted by Kastamonu University, Batuhan SEYRAN, a 1st year student of the Department of Environmental Health, eliminated his two opponents in the quarterfinals and semi-finals and reached the final. Our athlete came 2nd in the Inter-University Boxing Championship of Turkey. University Sports League (UNİLİG) super league football turkey championship competitions ended. Our team, which was in group D, took part in Adnan Menderes University, Adıyaman University and Samsun 19 Mayıs University. With 1 win, 1 draw and 1 defeat, our team completed the championship with 4 points and finished the championship in 2nd place in its group. Our volleyball and basketball teams will participate in the Unilig Super League Turkey Championship, which will be held on 16 May 2023 under the organization of UNILIG.
