Azerbaijani Coffee Break
International students to share their own tea/coffee culture with other students and increase interaction between students.
Our students talked about the historical and touristic regions of Azerbaijan such as (İçərişəhər), İçerişegir (Göygöl), Goy Lake, Alov qülləri (Flame Towers), and then offered Azer tea. Our students tasted (şəkərbura) Şekerbura and Qoz Peçenyesi (cookies) and Azerbaijani Paxlava (baklava) and talked about the similar tastes with Turkish culture. The students also shot a video showing the word similarities and dialect differences between Turkish and Azerbaijani. Students from many countries such as Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Pakistan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Egypt and Palestine participated in the event, as well as Azerbaijani administrative staff, all of whom enjoyed getting to know Azerbaijani culture.
