A Mind-opening Meeting with Brain Awareness Week Webinar
Üsküdar University Neuroscience Club, affiliated to the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, informed students about neuroscience with the "Brain Awareness Week Webinar" organized on March 16, 2024.
The event was held on an online platform with the participation of Prof. Dr. Oğuz Tanrıdağ, Prof. Dr. Neslihan Serap Şengör and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Yula as speakers.
The webinar was organized to emphasize the importance of brain health and to raise public awareness on this issue. During the event, participants had the opportunity to learn about current developments in the field of neuroscience. While 135 people attended the meeting, it was observed that the number of participants remained consistently above 120 throughout the webinar.
The participants welcomed the event with interest and requested that the event be organized again, stating that the information presented was useful. The explanatory and comprehensive presentations of the esteemed speakers were instrumental in sharing important information about brain and brain health awareness in the society.
After the event, it is planned to take new steps to increase awareness in the field of neuroscience and to raise awareness of the society on this issue by evaluating the feedback from the participants.
