International students to share their own tea/coffee culture with other students and increase interaction between students.
Iraqi Coffee Break
This week's representative for the 'International Coffee Break' event organized by the 'Intercultural Club' club supported by the International Student Relations Office of SKS Department of Uskudar University was Iraq. Students tasted Iraq's cardamom tea Shayl alhil (شاي الهيل ) and 'Kileçe', which is a type of cookies Iraq is famous for. Students who showed great interest in the event also had the oportunity to learn from our Iraqi students about Hammurabi Obelisk and the Lion of Babylon, which are important figures for local culture.
