Entrepreneurship Wind Blowing at Üsküdar University
Üsküdar University Industry and Leadership, Aviation and Entrepreneurship Student Branch Clubs organized an "Entrepreneurship Summit" on April 24, 2024. Valuable speakers took part in the event, which was organized in the form of a panel.
Speakers included Prof. Dr. Osman Çerezci, Dean of Üsküdar University MDBF, Sabahattin Okur, Founder of EMS Elektronik, Senanur Şamlı and Melih Gazi Küşüm, Co-Founders of Harcy, Mustafa Hakan Özelmacıklı, Board Member of Altın Emlak, Özlem Denizmen, Founder of Monay, Bilal Boğa and Emir Bilal Özkan, Co-Founders of Walther Kranz.
The theme of the event was to examine the concept of entrepreneurship in depth by bringing together successful entrepreneurs in Turkey. The speakers, who have achieved success in different sectors, aimed to inspire students by sharing the challenges, success stories and building blocks of the entrepreneurial journey.
60 people attended the event held at Üsküdar University Central Campus A Block Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall. Participants listened to examples of entrepreneurship in different sectors and discovered the differences and importance of entrepreneurship from the corporate business world.
In the comments at the end of the event, it was emphasized that the entrepreneurial journey requires perseverance, effort and patience. It was also emphasized that it is important for speakers from different sectors to come together and discover the common denominators in entrepreneurship.
