UU Child Development Club brought April 23 enthusiasm to the hospital

Üsküdar University Child Development Club brought together the enthusiasm of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day with the children in the hospital with the "Hospital Children's Festival" event organized on April 25, 2024 at Ümraniye Maternity and Children's Hospital.

The event started with a speech by the club president Melisa Şengül. The club president shared her feelings about the event organized to provide morale and motivation to children and emphasized the importance of such activities for children.

Hospital management, fellow students and children played various games, sang songs and participated in handicraft activities throughout the event. The children were visited by volunteer students in their hospital rooms and enjoyed the joy of April 23rd to the fullest.

In the evaluations made at the end of the event, fellow students, hospital management, children and parents expressed their great satisfaction with the festival. It was emphasized that the happiness and enthusiasm on the faces of the children, in particular, showed how appropriate the event was for its purpose.

Üsküdar University Child Development Club, affiliated to the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, stated that it will continue to support the society and children with such meaningful events. This event was a good initiative to keep the spirit of April 23 alive and to cheer up the hospitalized children.
