UU Child Development Club Instilled a Book Reading Culture in Students with the "Book Reading Strategies" Conference
On April 15, 2024, the "Book Reading Strategies" conference organized by the Child Development Club of Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department taught effective book reading methods to child development students.
The speaker of the event, Editor Kevser Şenel Yılmaz, showed the participants effective book reading strategies and emphasized the importance of books in the field of child development. Şenel explained how to learn more effectively by reading books and the role of books in development.
68 people attended the face-to-face event held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Emir Nebi Conference Hall. At the end of the conference, gift books were distributed to the participants and they left the event satisfied.
Participants were inspired by Editor Kevser Şenel Yılmaz's book reading practice and experiences on topics such as internship and business life. At the end of the event, the child development students clearly grasped the importance of reading books and increased their knowledge in this field.
Üsküdar University Child Development Club stated that it will continue to instill the reading culture in students and contribute to their personal development with such activities.
